Continental is extending its radial portfolio for agricultural machinery this summer.

The tiremaker has revealed its TractorMaster, the advanced tractor series 65 tire that complements the standard tires Tractor70 and Tractor85. The company will also launch a harvester tire in the size 800/65R32 178 A8 which will be called CombineMaster.

The names of the new tires are in line with the naming concept of all Continental OTR tires: Just like the port and earthmover tires, the names connect the vehicle type used with the ending “Master,” meaning all Continental OTR tires are literally mastering the challenges of the specific vehicle they are developed for.

With the launch and naming of the series 65 tractor tire, the radial TractorMaster tire for the use on terminal tractors in port applications will be renamed to TerminalMaster this summer.

A little more than two years ago, the tiremaker announced plans to re-enter the agricultural tire market and launched the Tractor 70 and 85 this week. Those tires will be available in North American this summer.

NRS Brakes has designed galvanized brake pads for the Tesla Model 3 specifically for electric/hybrid vehicle technology.

The company says (ADAS) vehicles demand a higher quality of all parts, especially safety items such as brakes.

As moisture creeps through the porous nature of the friction material, it is compromising the untreated backing plat, NRS Brakes says. Usually, moisture in the friction material is dissipated as heat is created through normal braking routines.
