Conti Wins Best New Product Award at SEMA

CT_ExtremeContactDWS06_3-4Continental Tire the Americas’ new all-season, UHP tire for sports cars, luxury sport cars and luxury sport crossovers – the ExtremeContact DWS06 – was named Best New Product in the Tire & Related Product category at this year’s SEMA Show. This is the second year Continental has claimed the award, winning with the TrueContact in 2014.

“We’re extremely proud to win the Best New Product award for the second year in a row at SEMA,” said Travis Roffler, director of marketing for Continental. “We’ve maintained excellent snow traction while making improvements in wet traction, dry handling and tread life. This is the ultimate UHP tire that enthusiasts will really enjoy.”

The ExtremeContact DWS06 features Conti’s new SportPlus Technology, which is designed for precise handling; security on wet, slippery roads; and excellent tread life, the tiremaker said. Traction grooves and X-Sipes help improve the tire’s all-season grip and improve snow performance, Conti adds.

The tire also features Quick View Indicators, including the Alignment Verification System and Tuned Performance Indicators.

The ExtremeContact DWS06 is available in 87 sizes from 16-inch to 22-inch wheel diameters with a W and Y speed rating.
