Conti Goes Back to Slopes With Ski Sponsorship

Continental Tire the Americas has extended its sponsorship of ski racing in Canada.

The tiremaker has extended its partnership deal with Alpine Canada Alpin and will outfit team vehicles with tires and increase its support of the Lake Louise World Cup event and the Coupe Nor-Am Cup ski race series.

Continental also announced that it will provide a financial contribution to Canada’s Alpine Ski Teams, enhancing their preparation for the 2011 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships next February.

“Continental is very excited to once again be an official partner of the ACA. We look forward to another successful ski season and continuing our great relationship with the ACA. We would like to wish all the Canadian skiers the best of luck this season,” said Continental Canada marketing manager Terry Smouter.
