Goodyear made the announcement last week at its North American dealer meeting in Dallas.
The free-standing kiosks feature a touch screen and were developed to simplify sometimes-complicated automotive systems for a consumer to understand.
“Using the latest in computer graphics technology, the kiosk employs motion images and cutaway views to demonstrate how major automotive systems operate, explaining the types of service and repair work needed to best maintain the vehicle,” Goodyear said.
The kiosks accommodate both English- and Spanish-speaking customers, and include stereo sound and full-color graphics. (Tire Review/Akron)
