Consumer confidence in the U.S. economy and job market has increased, according to research from the New York-based private research group, the Conference Board.
The Conference Board’s research found that consumer confidence has climbed to 96.5 – higher than the 92.6 estimate that was projected in November.
The increase in confidence is potentially a result of the strong labor market and cheap fuel costs that have helped peoples’ finances.
