Concept Cars at Auto Show to be Fitted with Bridgestone Tires

(Akron/Tire Review) Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire (BFNAT) announced that two concept vehicles fitted with Bridgestone Potenza concept tires will be displayed at the North American International Auto Show taking place Jan. 8-22 in Detroit.

The first concept vehicle, a Mazda Kabura compact sports coupe, will be fitted with 19-inch Bridgestone Potenza high performance run-flat tires on the front and 20-inch Bridgestone Potenza high performance run-flat tires on the rear.

The second vehicle, the Infiniti coupe concept, will sport Bridgestone Potenza tires in size 255/35R20 on the front and 275/35R20 on the rear.

Bridgestone partnered with Mazda and Infiniti to create the concept tires.

“We’re honored to showcase our design capabilities in tandem with the original equipment manufacturers’ best and brightest vehicle ideas at this premier automotive show,” said Michael Martini, president of the OE consumer tire division at BFNAT. “Concept tires are similar to an artist’s blank canvas, allowing us a platform to feature ideas that go beyond current thinking.”
