Like many, Bo Ray grew up in the tire industry. Working for his father, Ray worked on cars, changed tires, and drove a tow truck. It was this foundation that allowed Ray to branch out and take an opportunity at a non-competitor shop across town.
“I wanted to see what else was out there and found a great opportunity,” he shares. “We have such a great customer base, that it makes every day fun.”
As manager of Quality Tire Pros, Ray helps run the day-to-day business of the tire dealership. Tasks include opening the store, ordering inventory, helping customers, and more. It is this variety that Ray enjoys most about working as a tire dealer.
“It’s a new challenge every day. There are always new vehicles and new procedures,” he says. “Really, no two days are the same.”
Ray hopes to help the 60-year-old Quality Tire Pros to continue growing and serving customers in Chattanooga, Tenn.
“Success is keeping the business going, growing, and taking care of the customers,” he says.
Best Piece of Advice: “You have to do whatever you can to make sure the customer is happy. It might not always be the easiest thing, but it will keep them coming back,” Ray says.
