CEMB USA will display the ARGOS InstaCheck touchless alignment inspection system at booth #43231 in the Lower South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center at this year’s SEMA Show. .
The system uses the same 3-D vision scanner design as the ARGOS InstaVison System to instantaneously measure all four wheels in five seconds. Both systems are capable of producing four-wheel alignment measurements through a camera-guided process by stopping in the middle of four columns.
ARGOS systems have no setup, and there is no chance of operator error, CEMB USA says. There are no clamps, targets or electronics at the wheels. No need to leave the vehicle.
The system, named ARGOS after the mythological Greek god with one-thousand eyes, has no moving parts. The system can be used as an ARGOS InstaCheck, InstaVision or a combination of the two combining instant checks and alignment capability in a single unit. ARGOS also recalibrates automatically after every vehicle, CEMB says.
