Brilliance Plans U.S. Sales by 2008

(Akron/Tire Review) According to reports by China Automotive News, China’s Brilliance plans to begin exporting its BS6 sedan to the U.S. market by early 2008.

Still, Brilliance has reportedly not signed any distribution deals in North America, nor has it revealed the lines pricing.

Brilliance President Zhingang Liu was quoted by Reuters as saying, “"We are making preparations currently and hope to ship the first batch of BS6s to the United States late this year or in early 2008."

Brilliance launched the BS6 in at March’s Geneva Motor Show and has a distribution deal with a European importer. The BS6 line will be priced at around $25,000 in Europe, said reports.
