Bridgestone Americas’ Bandag retread plant in Oxford, N.C., has been recognized as a Carolina Star Site by the North Carolina Department of Labor.

“Safety is ingrained in all operations at Bridgestone, and the team at our Oxford Plant have done an exceptional job living our company motto Safety First, Always” said Jim DeMouy, vice president of environment, health, safety and sustainability at Bridgestone Americas. “Achieving this level of safety for a second time is a testament to all teammates, from leadership to the plant floor who embrace safety as a core value.”
