Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations has opened a new Tire Wholesale Warehouse (TWW) location in Twinsburg, Ohio.
The tiremaker told Tire Review the location opened August 2015 at the Cornerstone Business Park. The park was the former site of the Chrysler Stamping Plant and is currently being renovated into a 165-acre industrial park.
TWW is leasing a 45,870-square-foot warehouse from Twinsburg Industrial/Scannell Properties, Bridgestone said.
Seven Bridgestone teammates currently work at the TWW facility, not the 21 initial employees local media has reported. Bridgestone said that number is not currently in the tiremaker’s business plan.
The industrial park already holds the vending machine distribution business, Vistar, and FedEx. Other businesses that will be at the park have not been confirmed.
