Bridgestone Promotes Clark to GCR CEO

Bridgestone Americas has promoted Larry Jeffries to chief operating officer for the company’s GCR Tires & Service division.

Jeffries will replace Mark Clark, who is retiring at the end of February after more than 30 years in the tire industry.

Jeffries has been with Bridgestone since 1999 and recently served as director of technical planning at the Bridgestone Americas Akron Technical Center in Akron, Ohio.

Prior to working for the technical center, Jeffries was a regional operations manager for 10 years and worked as regional vice president and national director of communications for the Bridgestone subsidiary Tires Plus.
