The “significantly larger, roomier and more powerful” 2008 Highlander is available with Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 tires in sizes P245/65R17 105S and P245/55R19 103S. As a luxury touring original equipment tire, the Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400, with an all-season tread pattern for wet and dry traction, gives Highlander owners cruising comfort and command of the road, the company said.
Bridgestone has been an OE tire supplier to the Highlander since 2001 when Toyota introduced the mid-size SUV. The 2008 Highlander is one of the first SUVs to be outfitted with a Bridgestone 19-inch tire.
Currently, 15 other Toyota vehicles come standard with Bridgestone and/or Firestone brand tires, including the Avalon, Camry, Camry Solara, Corolla, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Land Cruiser, Matrix, Prius, RAV4, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma, Tundra and Yaris. (Tire Review/Akron)
