John Deere & Co. honored Bridgestone Americas as a Partner-level supplier for 2015 for the tiremaker’s dedication to providing the company quality products, service, and its commitment to improvement.
The Partner-level status is John Deere’s highest supplier rating and is part of the company’s Achieving Excellence Program. Suppliers who participate in the program are evaluated annually on quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength (a measure of responsiveness), Bridgestone said.
Bridgestone supplies ag and OTR tires to John Deere’s global operations, with the majority of its business involving John Deere’s North American agricultural equipment manufacturing facilities.
