According to Minoru Kuroki, Bridgestone’s vice president of sales and marketing, the Course entailed a thorough, five-day training session of selected top sales people from their best dealerships around the country in all aspects of 4×4 driving, from product training to on and off the road driving.
“The Bridgestone 4×4 Fundi will be able to give his customer the correct advice for his own unique tyre requirements, from a comprehensive range of Bridgestone and Firestone tyres that has been designed to cover every 4×4 application that the varied and demanding Southern African conditions present to the adventurer traveler, both on and off the road,” explained Kuroki.
On the fun side of the business, Bridgestone has set up an affiliation with an established 4×4 tour operator who offers guided adventure tours throughout Southern Africa. These tours will now be made available to its customers as a value-added service, through the 4×4 Fundi.
