Luis Solana has joined Bridgestone Americas as the company’s new vice president of logistics and supply chain management.

“Luis is a great addition to the Bridgestone team, and his strategic leadership will take our supply chain organization to the next level,” said TJ Higgins, president of the integrated consumer tire group at Bridgestone.

Prior to coming to Bridgestone, Solana worked at Coty Inc. as vice president of global supply chain. He also has held leadership positions at Colgate-Palmolive and Exel Logistics (now DHL Supply Chain).

Solana has a bachelor’s in industrial engineering from Universidad Panamerica in Mexico City, and a MBA from Harvard University.
