Bridgestone Launches Bandag MaxTread Tire Line

The MaxTread line features Bandag retreads as a stand-alone, single unit tire solution, Bridgestone says.

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. (Bridgestone) has released its new Bandag MaxTread line.

Bridgestone says the Bandag MaxTread line features Bandag retreads as a stand-alone, single unit tire solution, rather than a traditional tire cap and casing offering. The line includes trailer, drive and all-position fitments for light truck, waste, long haul, severe service and pickup and delivery applications.

“MaxTread is an ideal tire solution for fleets of all sizes, particularly small-to-mid-size fleets that may be in the beginning stages of adopting a retreading program and fleets that need a single replacement tire while on the road,” said Keith Iwinski, director of marketing, Bandag, U.S. and Canada, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations.

The Bandag MaxTread line includes the eight Bandag retread patterns, including:

Drive position: BDM, BDLT, BDV, DR5.3, DR4.3
Trailer position: TR4.1, Eclipse
All-position: BRM

All Bandag MaxTread tires are backed by a lifetime limited warranty featuring 100% coverage for the life of the tread, the company says.

When I was a child, rollercoasters were an awe-inspiring combination of power and adrenaline, a towering marvel of speed and terror to be gazed upon with either great anticipation or great fear– sometimes both. I have always loved knowing how things work, and even at a young age, I appreciated the mechanics of it all: the slow, steady, deliberate creaking of the steep climb, and the unseen forces just out of reach methodically pulling riders toward the unknown.
