Bolt On Technology announced the release of their second wave of feature updates for Mitchell 1 Manager SE and Snap-on ShopKey SE users that will enhance convenience and accuracy in the shop.

The Optical Character Recognition feature, by Bolt On, will allow shops to automatically populate the vehicle tab with all necessary information by simply taking a photo of the customer’s license plate. Bolt On hopes the feature will reduce inaccuracies in transferring information. This is a free update that will be available to current Mitchell 1 Manager SE and Snap-on ShopKey SE users. More information is available here.

In addition, oil and TPMS Reset instructions will now be available to technicians at all times. This update is currently available for Mitchell 1 ProDemand users with Manager SE or Snap-on ShopKey SE shop management systems. More information is available here.

Bolt On has also added a feature to keep a fully accurate, documented timeline of each customer interaction in a user’s shop. This feature allows shops to provide customers with a minute-by-minute summary of their service visits.
