Black’s Tire & Auto Service Owner Named NCTDA Dealer of the Year

The North Carolina Tire Dealers Association (NCTDA) named Ricky Benton, owner of Black’s Tire & Auto Service, as its 2014 Dealer of the Year. NCTDA President Richard Leicht presented the award to Benton on March 28 during the NCTDA’s annual Trade Show and Expo in Raleigh, N.C. Benton’s son, Ryan, who is a past NCTDA president, introduced Benton at the event.

In addition to the award, this year marks Black’s Tire & Auto Service 85th year in business.

“It is an honor to be given such a prestigious award, and I wouldn’t be here today without the great group of people we work with every day,” Benton said at the event. “They are my family and friends, not just my colleagues.”

Anyline secures funding from Austrian agency for AI development

Anyline received around $2.86 million to fund research and development of Closed Loop Training for artificial intelligence models.

Anyline has received €2.64 million (approx. $2.86 million) administered through the Austrian research promotion agency – Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft (FFG) – as a public grant over the last three years to fund research and development of Closed Loop Training (CLT) for artificial intelligence (AI) models that speed the time to accurately capture and digitize analog information.
