BKT Tires Inc. has appointed Leigh Johnston to be its marketing manager for its U.S. operations.
Johnston will be responsible for all marketing activities including brand building, planning trade shows and customer events, managing the sponsorship of Monster Jam, product advertising and promotional campaigns.
“We are very thrilled to welcome her to our BKT team in the USA as she brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge of marketing,” said Rajiv Poddar, joint managing director of Balkrishna Industries Ltd.
Johnston received her degree in journalism and communications from The Ohio State University and has worked on her Masters in Business at Wright State University. She worked at Trelleborg Wheel Systems, Inc. for four years in both communications and sales capacities and has prior marketing experience in the insurance industry.
Johnston is very active in her community and resides in Canton, Ohio with her four sons.
