Big O Helps 1,200 People Stay Warm

The fifth annual "Treads for Threads" clothing drive, in which Denver-area Big O Tires stores collected warm winter clothing for people in need, culminated Jan. 17 with a give-away event.

Since Dec. 1, the stores have collected over 10,000 pounds of clothing to give away at the event, held purposely on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. “Our ‘Treads for Threads’ event epitomizes Dr. King’s belief that we are all one family, and as a family, we should come together and help one another,” said Matt Story, Big O Tires.

Since the program started in 2005, Big O dealers have collected over 35,000 pounds of clothing for those who are less fortunate.

There are 33 locally-owned and operated Big O Tires locations across the Front Range of Colorado.
