Belle and Tredroc Tire Merge Commercial Services

Allen Park, Mich.-based Belle Tire Distributors and Tredroc Tire Services are expanding their partnership.

In 2009, Belle Tire and Tredroc entered into a joint venture, Belleroc Tire Services. Guided by the success of this venture, the companies have decided to expand their partnership by merging the commercial locations of Belle Tire, Belleroc Tire Services and Tredroc Tire Services into one company – Tredroc Tire Services.

The newly merged company will be jointly owned by Belle Tire and Tredroc.

Don Barnes Jr., from Belle Tire, will serve as chairman of the new company and John Lavelle Sr., from Tredroc, will serve as vice chairman.

The vision for the new Tredroc Tire Services is to combine the talent, locations and resources of all three companies while continuing to focus on customer service through a new, larger footprint in six states, the companies said.

“The merger allows us to work jointly to give commercial customers the opportunity to have a single-source tire and service provider for their operations across the region,” said Lavelle.

“It’s also a great way to increase our strength in the marketplace with a larger team, allowing our separate retail operations to focus solely on our in-store experience,” Barnes added.

Belle Tire’s retail operations are not part of the merger.

The new Tredroc Tire Services will have locations in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin.
