Wisconsin-based Bauer Built Tire has announced six 2016 winners of the G. F. “Sam” and Ethel V. Bauer/Bauer Built Inc. Scholarship Award.
Bauer Built started the scholarship in 1994 to commemorate the company’s 50th anniversary and in honor of its founders, G. F. “Sam” and Ethel V. Bauer. Applicants must be a Bauer Built employee, a son or daughter, stepson or stepdaughter, or grandchild of a Bauer Built employee who is graduating from high school and enrolled in a post-secondary course of instruction
Scholarship recipients were awarded $1,500 each. Recipients include:
– Isaac Annis who plans are to attend University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for business management.
– Hannah Biesterveld who plans to attend University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse for occupational therapy.
– Kelsey Bundy who plans to attend University of Wisconsin–Green Bay for social work.
– Keaton Cain who plans to attend Southwest Minnesota State for education.
– Elizabeth Duncan who plans to attend Mississippi University State for secondary education.
– Ben Weber who plans to attend University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire for business.
Bauer Built has awarded $96,000 in scholarships since 1994.
