Bauer Built Announces Exec Appointments

Durand, Wisc.-based dealer and retreader Bauer Built Inc. has made some management changes in its tire division.

Tad Bauer, formerly executive vice president of marketing and logistics, is being promoted to COO and executive vice president of the division. He will continue as a member of the corporation’s board of director and executive team.

Jim Fenn, formerly executive vice president of sales and manufacturing, will replace the younger Bauer to manage the company’s marketing, purchasing, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and manufacturing activities.

Todd Weber is being promoted from vice president of sales for Bauer Built’s North Region to executive vice president of tire sales operations, responsible for supervising the sales operations for the company’s 28 Tire Centers and its Wholesale Distribution Centers.

Joe Weber, currently Bauer Built’s store manager of the St. Paul., Minn., Tire Center and Retread Plant, will become vice president of sales for Bauer Built’s North Region replacing Weber.

Jerry Bauer, com[any president, said the reorganization will “continue Bauer Built’s long range strategies to develop a controlled succession plan and to continue to create depth in their management team.” (Tire Review/Akron)
