Bandag Dealer Opens in Andalusia

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Owner Leocadio Alcaide (38) founded his company in 2000 in Alcal

He also sold Bandag retreads manufactured by a Bandag Dealer in Andalusia and soon realised that opening his own Bandag shop would be an important contribution to the transport sector in the area.

With 27,000 kilometres of roads and a high-potential economy based on food-processing, shipbuilding, construction and tourism, Andalusia is home to many long-haul fleets, regional bus fleets and national haulage companies. "As a manufacturing Bandag Dealer, we are in a better position to boost the productivity and profitability of Andalusian fleets," says Leocadio Alcaide.

The new, state-of-the-art Bandag workshop operated by NeumÁticos Leocadio Alcaide, S.L. in the industrial zone of AlcalÁ de GuadaÍra (Seville) houses the latest new-generation retreading machinery that is exclusive to Bandag. It also boasts a Bandag Insight 7400 shearographic casing analyser, which guarantees that only 100% safe and reliable casings are sent out on the road again as long-lasting Bandag retreads.

"With this sophisticated equipment and the know-how of our five retreading specialists, we produce tyres that at least equal – and often outperform – new tyres," comments Mr Alcaide. "They offer unrivalled reliability and boost vehicle uptime – all for a fraction of the cost of new tyres!"
