B&J Announces Rasp Trade-in Program

(Akron/Tire Review) B&J Manufacturing has announced a free trade-in program that allows retreading plants to exchange their current rasps for one of the company's newest technology products.

To participate in the free B&J Manufacturing trade-in program, a retreading plant simply orders a B&J Manufacturing rasp from its distributor and ships its old hub back to B&J. The free rasp trade-in offer is available for both Matteuzzi and Bandag buffers.

All B&J Manufacturing rasp blades are now made from the company’s proprietary ULTANIUM steel, which features a specially formulated molecular structure providing ultimate endurance characteristics.

Retreaders interested in participating in B&J Manufacturing’s free trade-in program should contact their distributor for details.

Giti Tire announces winners of STEAM competition

New this year, the winning teams from each division will progress to compete out of state.

Giti Tire revealed the winners of its STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Competition in Chester County, SC, where the company's first North American manufacturing facility stands.

Winners included Great Falls Elementary School in the Elementary Division; Chester Middle School in the Middle School Division; and Lewisville High School in the High School Division.
