The Auto Care Association’s Manufacturers’ Reps Council is offering a one-hour teleforum on Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. EDT discussing the impact of the Trump administration’s tariffs on the auto care industry.
Trade policy and tariffs have dominated current events, including the Section 301 China tariffs, steel and aluminum tariffs, the investigation on imported autos and auto parts and the new U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). While we’ve heard from policy and legal experts on these issues, what do industry insiders have to say about the impact of current policies on their businesses?
The teleforum, “The Impact of the Trump Administration’s Tariffs – Automotive Aftermarket Experts Weigh in,” will include a brief overview of the Trump administration’s recently implemented trade policies; insight into how the administration’s trade policies are impacting the businesses of industry leaders; and thoughts on the future.
The discussion will be moderated by Auto Care Association President and CEO Bill Hanvey. Industry leaders joining Hanvey for the teleforum include: John Treece, president and CEO, DMA Holdings, Inc.; Bob Jacoff, CEO, Great Neck Tool Co.; and David Morris, vice president, merchandising and inventory planning, Icahn Automotive
