The Auto Care Association will host its second webinar on Aug. 17 with IHS Automotive as part of its Industry Analysis Webinar Series. The webinar will be led by Colin Bird, IHS’s senior analyst for automotive technology, who will focus on U.S. consumer sentiments and behaviors regarding the connected car.
“The Auto Care Association is proud to partner with IHS Automotive to provide current valuable information on issues that are impacting, and will impact, all segments of the auto care industry,” said Bill Hanvey, president and CEO of the Auto Care Association.
The Industry Analysis Webinar Series will feature five webinars that are scheduled through December 2016. Future webinar topics include global forecasting and strategic planning, and auto care industry trends including commercial vehicles, the association said.
The Auto Care Association hosted its first industry analysis webinar with IHS Automotive on June 28, entitled “A Decade of Change – Lightweighting the Key to Compliance.”
Michael Robinet, IHS’s managing director of automotive advisory services, led the webinar and covered how emissions standards in the U.S. and around the world are leading OEMs to develop and sell different types of vehicles with new technologies, changing materials and new components, according to the association. The first webinar can be replayed at autocare.org.
Future webinars are free to attend, but attendees are encouraged to register early due to limited availability. Registration opens two to four weeks before each webinar at autocare.org.
