The Auto Care Association has announced a new trade mission to Chile on Aug. 21 – 22 part of the Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) award the association received from the U.S. Department of Commerce to support export promotion projects in Latin America.
The trade mission to Chile is designed to help U.S. companies in the automotive industry gain first-hand market information by meeting with potential clients and partners, which are pre-screened to match participants’ business objectives. The trade mission packages include prearranged private business-to-business meetings, hotel accommodations, local transportation, meals, interpreters, market overview briefings and networking reception. The trade mission is open to all companies in the industry, with qualifying companies eligible to receive a $1,500 offset of the trade mission package cost.
The association says Chile is stable, prosperous and consistently ranks high on international indices relating to economic freedom, transparency, and competitiveness. In addition, macroeconomic stability and growing integration with international capital markets has earned Chile an A-plus credit rating, the highest in Latin America.
