Atturo Tire to Debut New Wide Version of Trail Blade Boss Magnum, Other Product Lines at 2018 SEMA Show

Atturo Tire Corporation will exhibit at the 2018 SEMA Show in its largest booth yet, the company said.

Atturo Tire Corporation will exhibit at the 2018 SEMA Show in its largest booth yet, the company said.

The tiremaker will debut its Trail Blade Boss Magnum with new, super-wide sizes will properly fit today’s extra-wide wheels, Atturo says. Atturo will also display its product lines from the Trail Blade M/T to the Trail Blade X/T to the CV400 and everything in between. With a booth visit, attendees will be able to catch up on the latest news and new sizes from Atturo and pick up a giveaway at the booth as well.

Already the biggest tire in Atturo’s rugged off-road Trail Blade Series, the Boss features a heavy-duty tread inspired by the Quartermaster QSA-1 Boss Hog knife, a blade made for hard-core use. And now the BOSS is even bigger  with its extra-wide versions coming in sizes: LT375/45R20 126Q (33×15.0R20), LT375/55R20 128Q (36×15.0R20), LT355/40R22 122Q (33×14.0R22), LT375/45R22 128Q (35×15.0R22), and LT375/40R24 128Q (36×15.0R24).

“With the extra-wide BOSS, we’re excited to offer an even wider array of choices for today’s extreme lifted trucks,” says Michael Mathis, Atturo President. “And we’re equally excited to debut the new tire sizes in Las Vegas during SEMA, the premier automotive specialty products trade show on the planet. SEMA is where the largest collection of modified trucks can be found. The growth in larger lifts and wider wheels is unmistakable. The new wide series of the BOSS gives a distinctive tire choice to these custom vehicles.”

The tread on the Boss, originally designed for large format sizes, features extra-large tread blocks that don’t get distorted as the pattern is expanded up to the 15-inch width. These sizes are specified for installation on up to a 14-inch-wide wheel. This gives the truck owner a more uniform tire and wheel assembly instead of having to stretch an undersized tire onto their wider wheels, Atturo says. This proper application also makes the mounting of the tire safer and faster for the installer.

The new Boss, Atturo’s featured product during SEMA, ppears on billboards along Paradise Road welcoming attendees to the show. Inside the Las Vegas Convention Center, the new BOSS will be on display at Booth 43221 in the South Hall, along with the other tires in Atturo’s rugged Trail Blade Series (Trail Blade M/T, X/T and AT) and high-performance AZ series (AZ610, AZ 800 and AZ850).

Atturo is also sponsoring Aaron Brown from The Garage Shop on his Expedition SEMA for 2018. Brown’s Expedition SEMA starts from the Canadian border in Montana. He will use the Expedition SEMA Toyota Land Cruiser is trek nearly 5,000 miles to Las Vegas and end at the SEMA Show. For 2018, he is joined by another team from Belgium piloting a 2012 Ford F-150 Raptor. Both vehicles are equipped with Atturo Trail Blade Boss tires. Attendees can see the Expedition SEMA Toyota Land Cruiser at the Performance Plus Motor Oil booth (#50427) in the Performance Pavilion and Bronze Lot.

If you could boil this year's Continental Tire GOLD member meeting into one takeaway, it's that the tire manufacturer is putting a whole lot of effort into listening and responding to its dealer base. Continental doesn't own company stores, so building a strong value proposition around the company's brands and products with its distributors and retailers is the most effective path to success. To maximize the mutual benefits of this partnership, Continental leadership says acting on the will of its dealer base – whether that's about product, programs, distribution, or anything else – is paramount.
