Atturo Tire Corp. developed its new Trail Blade X/T due to consumer demand for a tire with more on-road performance coupled with off-road styling similar to the company’s Trail Blade M/T, said the tiremaker.
The tire combines the sidewall and shoulder style of the M/T with a tread for highway and trail use, Atturo said. Inspired by the Quarter Master QTR-3 knife, the shoulder features a wide void between tread sections, and segmented stone ejectors between the tread.
The Trail Blade X/T is available in LT and metric sizes 17-inch through 24-inch. LT sizes will feature a three-ply sidewall and cut resistant tread compound for durability, Atturo said. Metric sizes feature a two-ply sidewall for improved ride comfort, the company said.
