Atlanta Firestone Dealer to Use Recycled Tires for Mulch

(Akron/Tire Review) Firestone Complete Auto Care in Atlanta is currently working on an initiative with National Tire Recycling to place mulch produced from recycled tires at its entrance and picnic areas.


The Atlanta dealership is the first Firestone Complete Auto Care location to use mulch produced from recycled tires, according to a release from BFS Retail & Commercial Operations, parent company of Firestone Complete Auto Care. About 245 bags of rubber mulch, the equivalent of 326 tires, have already been produced for the project, the company said.
