ATG Introduces Galaxy MPC Construction Tire

Alliance Tire Group has rolled out a new multi-purpose construction tire, the Galaxy MPC G-2/L-2.

The tire is optimized for graders, loaders and tele-handlers with reinforced sidewalls and a wide, flat tread for lateral stability, said Steve Vandegrift, product manager for Alliance Tire Americas.

The Galaxy MPC will be available in five sizes: 13.00-24 12 ply, 14.00-24 12 ply, 15.5-25 12 ply, 17.5-25 16 ply and 20.5-25 16 ply.

Currently only the 13.00-24 12 ply and 14.00-24 12 ply sizes have been released and the other sizes will be available soon, the tiremaker said. Available tires can be purchased container-direct or through ATG’s four U.S. warehouses.

Nokian Tyres releases 2023 sustainability report

Highlights of the company’s sustainability actions in 2023 include a commitment to achieve science-based net-zero emissions by 2050.

Nokian Tyres recently published its Sustainability Report 2023. According to the report, Nokian Tyres achieved several external sustainability ratings, such as inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index, platinum medal from EcoVadis, an AAA rating from MSCI and a leadership-level score of A- on the CDP Climate report.
