At Least it Was Only a Goat

Nodoubt tire and service techs take a lot of crap from customers. Beenthere, dealt with that. For every kindly, polite customer there isanother who, well, defines G-rated description.

But this actual story takes the cake:

Awoman brings her Chevy Malibu to the Tires Plus location in Winona,Minn., needing a replacement belt. While getting the paperwork settled, she casually mentions to the tech that she had a goat in the trunk.

Now that got the attention of the poor tech, who could only reply, “A what?!?!?”

The woman explained that the goat was to be butchered.

Okay, while that was weird enough, I suppose that explanation would have settled things.

Butit gets better! Seems the woman had painted the goat purple and gold –Minnesota Vikings colors – complete with Brett Favre’s No. 4 jerseynumber shaved into its side. Not sure if this was some sort of voodooritual or a closet Packers fan living in Minnesota.

Either way, the woman did not get her new belt. But she did get a visit from animal control and local authorities.
