The Automotive Service Association’s Washington, D.C., office will host a webinar on the current state of telematics and new-technology policy on July 27 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern.
During ASA’s upcoming webinar, participants will hear from aftermarket representatives, vehicle manufacturers and ASA leadership about the implications of policy developments for repair professionals, the association said.
Telematics technology will require significant investment in new equipment and technician training if tire dealers or shop owners wish to stay competitive. In addition, these owners will have to educate themselves on the complex legislative policy issues of safety and cyber security, ASA shared.
Following the presentations, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a question-and-answer session with panelists.
