Application Period Open for Michelin/TIA Scholarship

The application period for the 2016-17 Michelin/TIA Scholarship is now open.

The eligibility requirements are as follows:
• Applicants must be a dependent child of a current Michelin employee. The employee must have one year of continuous employment as of Jan. 1, 2016.
• Applicants must be a senior in high school or current undergraduate student who plans to attend college full-time in the fall of 2016.
• Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Applicants who are high school seniors applying for a 4-year scholarship must have a minimum SAT score of 1500 or a minimum ACT score of 22.

Applicants must submit the requested information via the website or by mail. All additional items must be received no later than 5 p.m. EST on Dec. 31, 2015.

Since 2000, the Michelin/TIA scholarship has awarded more than $250,000 to 52 recipients who have gone on to attend accredited two-year, four-year, technical or vocational schools. Once awarded, the recipients may renew the scholarship for up to three more years.
