Tire marketer and importer American Pacific Industries is planning to move its headquarters across town in Scottsdale, Ariz., to a more permanent office in late May. API is also leasing an East Coast warehouse in Camp Hill, Pa.

In August, API moved its offices from Valencia, Calif., to a temporary location in Scottsdale, according to Tom Burkhardt, general manager of API. The move, he said, was largely due to financial reasons and Arizona’s lower corporate taxes.

The new offices will be located in north Scottsdale.

API began operations at the Pennsylvania warehouse in May, according to Burkhardt. API has one other U.S. warehouse in Dallas.

API markets Advanta, Gladiator, Minos and Zenna brand tires.
