"After doing some research, I realized that joining would benefit our business in many ways. We recently remodeled our showroom to become more female friendly, and joining just seemed like a logical step,” said Brian Cooper, co-owner, who founded the dealership in 1979 with his brother, Tim. “The training was extremely beneficial to our staff, and we now can use the information provided to improve different aspects of the business to meet all of our customers’ needs more effectively.”

“In recent years, we have noticed an increase in our base of women customers and are excited to enhance our presence in the female market,” said Bonnie Deysher of Delaware Tire. We have recently renovated our showroom, featuring a separate kid-friendly play area, expanded and updated our restroom, and provide WiFi access to create an enjoyable and comfortable customer experience. Partnering with, and becoming Salisbury’s Certified Female Friendly auto service and tire center, will help us offer the ultimate customer service to everyone in our community.”

To become Certified Female Friendly, Cooper Brothers and Delaware Tire personnel completed an extensive training program on how to best serve women, and they will now participate in year-round instruction to further enhance their awareness, appreciation, and commitment to a female-friendly service experience.

The shops also will benefit from a unique marketing support program designed to reach out and build lasting relationships with women customers. This includes a female-focused micro-site that provides the tire and service buying tools and resources most requested by women.
