Anco Returns as NHL Sponsor

NHL-ANCO-Official-Wiper-BladeAnco Wipers, a brand of Federal-Mogul Corp., will once again be the official wiper blade of the National Hockey League in the 2014-2015 season.

“Hockey fans are incredibly passionate about the sport, and the NHL and our other hockey-related programs help us gain attention for a very important safety message – that replacing worn wipers with best-in-class Anco products can help you stay safe on the road,” said Mike Proud, director of marketing, North America, Federal-Mogul Motorparts.

Anco also sponsored the NHL in 2013. Proud said the company’s NHL program has helped Anco dealers connect with safety-conscious consumers in each NHL market and beyond.

This year the company will develop and deploy local promotions and other highly targeted campaigns to attract consumers to dealers who sell and install Anco products, according to Proud. This approach enabled the brand to sell a record number of NHL-themed promotional packs in 2013, he said.

Additionally, Anco will continue its sponsorship of a variety of NHL events including the 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic. The brand also will be featured in broadcasts and online advertising and social media activities.
