ALI Elects Board, Shows New Site

(Akron/Tire Review) The Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) re-elected Jerry Lentz of Challenger Lifts Inc. to a second term as chairman of its board during the association’s annual membership meeting, held recently in conjunction with the AAPEX and SEMA Shows.

In addition, the group unveiled its redesigned Web site – www.autolift.org – with improved navigation, online purchasing of training materials and other features.

Other ALI members elected to the board included: Rick Wells of Mohawk Resources Ltd.; Pete Liebetreu of Hunter Engineering Co.; Doug Grunnet of ALM Auto Lifts/Mach. Corp.; Jeff Kritzer of BendPak Inc.; and Gary DiAngelo of Wheeltronic Ltd.

Gary Kennon of Rotary Lift/Dover Industries continues as past chairman and R.W. O’Gorman was re-elected as ALI secretary/treasurer.

Discount Tire strikes sponsorship deal with the Los Angeles Angels

The sponsorship will run for the entire 2024 season in conjunction with the Los Angeles Angels.
