Jeremie Daniel Turner, 26, of 25590 Copeland Road is charged with second-degree theft of property, said Capt. Marty Bruce.
Turner was developed as a suspect after an individual he sold some used tires to had them mounted.
“The person who mounted the tires recognized the unusual brand and spoke to the victim,” Bruce said. “The victim then notified Detective Johnny Campbell.”
Campbell was able to track the tires to Turner, who was brought in for questioning and admitted stealing them.
Turner was transferred to the Limestone County Jail and released after posting a $2,500 bond. (Tire Review/Akron)
