Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey made a donation of $1,000 to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to help the organization combat prostate cancer at the association’s Northeast Automotive Services Show.
This is the second consecutive year AASP/NJ has made a donation to the center. The funds for the donation were generated in part form the proceeds of the association’s recent Race Night event at Pole Position Raceway in Jersey City.
“This is one of the best parts of my job,” said Jeff McDowell, AASP/NJ president “As I have said before, many of us have been, or know someone who has been affected by prostate cancer. Memorial Sloan Kettering does an amazing job in their treatment and search for a cure for this horrible disease. We are honored to contribute to and help further along what MSK is doing on a daily basis.”
