Dealer Strategic Planning Inc. has joined the popular social media site Facebook, and will use its Fan page to share information, photos and dealer comments about its Tire Dealer 20 Group programs.
“During all of our recent meetings social media has been a hot topic with the consensus that dealers must include social media in their marketing plan to have a well-rounded approach to today’s Web-savvy consumers,” said Pat Brown, DSP vice president of marketing. “It made sense that we should take our own advice and have a presence on Facebook, which is rapidly becoming one of the biggest information sites on the Web today.”
The new DSP Facebook page shows the dealer interaction during 20 Group meetings that have been held at dealer locations in Illinois, Indiana, California, Ohio and Oklahoma.
“DSP’s Facebook page will allow the collaboration to continue after our 20 Group face-to-face meeting concludes,” said DSP 20 Group member Jeff Webster of Take Ten Tire & Lube.
