The Car Care Council Women’s Board (WB) is celebrating its 20th anniversary by announcing a new name and rebranding effort at AAPEX 2016.
The group’s new name, Women in Auto Care, was chosen in response to the WB’s massive growth and upcoming initiatives to establish itself in a leadership position around the globe.
“This year has been outstanding, with two successful leadership conferences and our membership, benefits and sponsor partnerships have continued to accelerate,” said Amy Mattinat, president of the Car Care Council Women’s Board. “Since 1996, we have grown from a ‘board’ of a selection of elite women professionals to a membership organization of more than 200 auto care professionals dedicated to providing opportunities, education and career leadership to women in the industry.”
The Women’s Board rebranding effort led by member Lisa Rodriguez, owner of Soaring Marketing. The new name, logo and more information will be officially unveiled at this year’s annual press conference at AAPEX, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. at The Venetian Casanova Room 505.
