Wes Boling Joins Nokian Tyres as Marketing Manager

Nokian Tyres has hired Wes Boling, formerly public relations manager with Hankook Tire America, to help manage its brand presence throughout the North American market.

Nokian Tyres has hired Wes Boling to help manage its brand presence throughout the North American market.

Boling, whose formal title is marketing communications manager, will generate publicity for the Finnish company including for its first North American manufacturing plant in Dayton, Tennessee, which is scheduled to begin production in 2020.

Boling is a tire-industry veteran who comes to Nokian Tyres from Hankook Tire America Corp., where he served as public relations manager. His hire is the latest step in the tiremaker’s growth plan, which seeks to leverage its core values of safety and sustainability to double its North American sales by 2023.
