Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations announced that Roger Errett of Mount Pleasant, Penn., was awarded the grand prize for its Dayton commercial truck tires competition at the Mid America Trucking Show.
Errett won a set of 10 Dayton truck tires for finishing nearly three pounds of buffalo chicken wings in 10 minutes. The wing eating contest was part of Bridgestone’s celebration of its new Dayton campaign, Tires for Truckers.
“Today’s truckers are focused on getting the job done with as little down time as possible. The new Dayton line keeps truckers moving. We launched eight new patterns, doubling the product coverage of the former lineup in January. Dayton tires are quality-proven, affordable and designed to support small fleets and owner-operators so they can keep focused on the bottom line,” said Matt Loos, director of truck and bus marketing, Bridgestone Commercial.
Errett competed against seven other contest participants to win the grand prize.
