TravelCenters of America Adds Michelin Duals, X One Tires

TravelCenters of America is now offering both Michelin duals and X One tires at more than 200 participating TA and Petro Stopping Centers.

Michelin steer, drive and trailer tires will be available and serviced at all participating TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube truck service facilities within the TA and Petro network. RoadSquad 24/7/365 emergency roadside service trucks within the network also will carry Michelin tires.

The locations will offer the Michelin XZA3+ Evertread steer, XDN2 and X Line Energy D drive, XT-1 trailer, as well as other tread designs and sizes. TA and Petro have been carrying the Michelin X One line of tires since September 2012.

“We are pleased to expand our agreement with Michelin and offer fleets and owner-operators more Michelin quality truck and trailer tire options,” said Tom O’Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters. “Adding dual and wide-base Michelin tires to our tire lineup provides drivers with the most tire options over-the-road.”

“This expanded agreement with TravelCenters of America provides our fleet and owner-operator customers additional access to Michelin dual and X One products wherever they need it,” said Vic Koelsch, chief operating officer for Michelin Americas Truck Tires. “We are proud to work with the TA and Petro network to offer a full range of tire options over the road.”
