Toyo Makes Corporate Personnel Changes

Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. announced several assignment and personnel changes, effective June 1.

Satoshi Taketsugu will assume the role of general manager of OE sales planning and the administrative department in the company’s OE Sales division. Taketsugu was formerly in administration at Toyo Tire Zhangjiagang Co., Ltd., and takes over his new role from Yasushi Takagi, who will remain with the company in the role of general manager of the OE Sales division.

Shinichi Murata will become general manager of the compliance promotion department in the Compliance & Legal Center; he had been general manager of the
 purchasing administration department. Murata assumes the role from Masao Takiwaki, who remains with Toyo as corporate officer,
 chief compliance officer and general manager of the Compliance & Legal Center.

Michihiro Tamaki, in addition to continuing duties as general manager of the purchasing department, also will serve as general manager of the purchasing administration department.

The tiremaker also announced that Katsumi Komaguchi has resigned as chairman and representative director, effective May 27.
