Four more tire companies have expanded their soccer sponsorships for the 2015/2016 season and beyond, Tyres & Accessories reports.
Maxxis has renewed their sponsorship contract with Liverpool FC, which will continue the six-year partnership with the football club and will run until the end of the 2016/2017 season.
Falken Tire has expanded it’s involvement in European football by securing perimeter advertising packages at various clubs playing in the German Bundesliga, Spain’s Primera División, the Italian Serie A and France’s Ligue 1. The tiremaker will have perimeter advertising at Bayer 04 Leverkusen, 1899 Hoffenheim, FC Augsburg and SC Darmstadt 98 home games and gain brand presence in the stadiums of Primera División teams FC Valencia and RCD Espanyol Barcelona, Serie A clubs AS Roma, FC Bologna and Torino FC, and Ligue 1 clubs Olympique Lyon and OGC Nice. Falken Tire is already a partner of FC Ingolstadt 04.
Hankook will continue to sponsor the German football club Borussia Dortmund for 2 more years. Hankook has supported the club since 2009.
Toyo Tire’s sales subsidiary in Russia will sponsor Russian football club FC Zenit Saint Petersburg. Toyo Tire Rus LLC will sponsor the team for three seasons from August 2015 to July 2018.
