TBC Corp. celebrated the grand opening of its new 1.5 million-square-foot warehouse in Rossville, Tenn., just 20 minutes east of its former warehouse in Hickory Hill.
The facility features new technology and workflow enhancements and it employs nearly 120 associates, TBC said.
“A couple of years ago, we embarked on a major logistics network redesign project to more cost effectively deliver better service to our customers while providing our associates with a state-of-the-art workplace and environment that supports our organization’s underlying mission,” said Erik R. Olsen, president, CEO and chairman of TBC Corp. “I can confidently say that this location does just that; associates have truly enjoyed the workflow enhancements and we’re pleased with the outcome.”
TBC worked with Panattoni Development, JLL and Alston Construction to find and construct the new warehouse location. In October 2016, TBC and its construction/real-estate partners donated $150,000 to the city of Rossville as a thank you for the warm welcome, TBC said.
TBC operates more than 60 warehouses across the U.S. and 40 in Mexico.
